Please read these Terms of Service ("Terms") carefully before using the Outfit AI mobile application and Safari extension (the "Service") operated by Outfit AI ("we", "our", or "us").

By accessing or using our Service, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree with any part of the Terms, please do not use the Service.

1. Introduction
Outfit AI is a mobile app and Safari extension that helps users virtually try on clothing while browsing online shopping websites. Our mission is to make online fashion shopping confident, accurate, and secure.

2. Privacy Policy

3. User Accounts
Some features may require you to create an account or subscribe to a plan. You agree to provide accurate information and are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials. Please notify us of any unauthorized access.

4. Use of the Service
You agree to use Outfit AI only for lawful purposes and personal, non-commercial use. You may not:
a. Upload photos of other people without their explicit consent.
b. Reverse engineer or misuse the AI or image processing system.
c. Upload harmful content, viruses, or inappropriate images.
d. Bypass subscription systems or misuse free-tier limits.
e. Use automated bots or scrapers without written permission.
f. Resell, redistribute, or commercially exploit the Service or generated images.
g. Use the Service to create deepfakes or misleading content.

5. Image Processing and Virtual Try-On
a. When you upload a photo or use the virtual try-on feature, your images are processed through third-party AI services.
b. Your uploaded photos and generated try-on images are stored securely in your account on Firebase Storage and Firestore.
c. Images are processed solely to provide virtual try-on functionality and are never used for training AI models or shared with third parties for other purposes.
d. You retain ownership of your uploaded photos but grant us a license to process them for providing the Service.
e. You can delete individual images or your entire account at any time:
- Use the "Delete Account" feature in the app settings, or
- Email us at support@outfit-ai.app
f. Upon account deletion, all your data will be permanently removed within 30 days.

6. Subscriptions and Billing
a. Certain features may be available only with a paid subscription.
b. Payments are securely processed via your app store provider (Apple App Store/Google Play Store).
c. Subscriptions auto-renew unless canceled before the end of the billing cycle.
d. You may cancel anytime via your app store settings.
e. Subscription fees are non-refundable except where required by law or due to technical error.
f. Free trial periods (if offered) will convert to paid subscriptions unless canceled before the trial ends.

7. Intellectual Property
a. The Outfit AI brand, app design, AI algorithms, and virtual try-on technology are the intellectual property of Outfit AI and its licensors.
b. You may not copy, modify, distribute, or reverse engineer our technology without permission.
c. You retain ownership of your uploaded photos.
d. Generated try-on images are for your personal use only and may not be used commercially without permission.

8. Safari Extension and App Availability
a. We strive to keep Outfit AI available at all times but cannot guarantee uninterrupted access. Downtime may occur due to:
- Scheduled maintenance
- Third-party AI provider outages
- Technical issues
- Safari or iOS updates
- Force majeure events
b. The Safari extension requires appropriate permissions to function. You can revoke these permissions at any time through Safari settings.
c. The extension only accesses webpage content when you explicitly activate the try-on feature.

9. Termination
We may suspend or terminate your access to the Service at any time for violating these Terms. Upon termination:
a. Your subscription will be canceled.
b. Your stored images and account data will be deleted within 30 days.
c. You will lose access to all saved try-on images and collections.
d. Terms related to liability and intellectual property will continue to apply.

You may voluntarily terminate your account at any time by:
- Using the "Delete Account" feature in the app, or
- Emailing support@outfit-ai.app

10. Disclaimer of Warranties
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee:
a. That virtual try-on images are 100% accurate representations of how clothing will look in real life
b. That fit predictions are perfect for every body type or clothing item
c. That the app is always error-free or uninterrupted
d. That the Safari extension will work on every shopping website
e. That AI-generated images are free from visual artifacts or imperfections

Virtual try-on is an approximation tool. Actual fit and appearance may vary. Always check retailer size guides and return policies before purchasing.

11. Limitation of Liability
To the extent allowed by law, Outfit AI is not liable for:
a. Clothing purchases made based on virtual try-on results
b. Loss of stored images or data due to technical issues
c. Inaccurate fit predictions or sizing recommendations
d. Financial losses from online shopping decisions
e. Indirect or consequential damages
f. Third-party AI provider errors or outages

Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid for the Service in the last 12 months.

12. User Responsibilities
You are responsible for:
a. Ensuring you have the right to upload and use photos you provide
b. Obtaining consent from individuals whose photos you upload
c. Making final purchasing decisions based on multiple factors, not just virtual try-on
d. Reviewing retailer return policies before buying clothing
e. Keeping your account credentials secure

13. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the United Kingdom. Any legal disputes will be resolved in the courts of the United Kingdom.

14. Changes to Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. If changes are material, we'll notify you via the app or email at least 30 days in advance. Continued use of the Service means you accept the new Terms.
